Soros moves to control American food and grain production
Written by CAA National on March 31, 2011 KENNETH SCHORTGEN JR.

Financier and progressive activist George Soros is formulating a move to control food and grain production by purchasing grain elevators in late March in several parts of the United States through his Soros Management Fund's backed Gavilon Grain.  With purchases made in March, Gavilon Grain will become the third largest grain company behind Cargill, and Archer-Daniels Midland.

With strong ties to the Obama administration, Soros now has both the economic, and political clout to begin consolidation of purchasing and shipping domestic agriculture around the world.
U.S. grain firm Gavilon Grain said on Thursday it will buy Union Elevator and Warehouse's 16 grain elevators in the Pacific Northwest , the company's second big purchase of U.S. grain facilities in the last six months.

The purchase of 16 elevators at 12 locations in eastern Washington will expand Gavilon's grain capacity by 8.4 mbu.

"The addition of Union Elevator's grain facilities and origination capabilities position us well to support the growing Pacific Northwest export wheat market and serve the Columbian Basin feed grain market," Greg Konsor, VP and GM of Gavilon Grain, said in a statement. The PNW is the No. 1 wheat export terminal in the United States.  - Reuters

When food brokers consolidate into just a few large companies controlling the majority of a market, then prices can be set not by supply and demand, but by corporate decisions and manipulation of supply.  If the price for food is too low in the United States, then grain can be shipped to other markets for sale, causing then an artificial supply problem in the country that produced the grain itself.

With George Soros's making this move in backing Gavilon Grain's purchases to control food and grain distribution in the United States, and becoming the third largest grain company in the country, it will lead to the same results that we see in the energy markets as oil is controlled by a small group of corporations, and the price can be dictated by an artificial control over its supply.

This is a danger to our national security and our economy! This guy has been funding the Brady Bunch and trying to take guns away from the American people. He is not an American. If he is allowed to do this he will create a food shortage that could destroy America! Obama is most likely an illegal and Muslim, if he is I can understand why he is letting this happen. The communist which Obama might be one, said several years ago that they would take over America with out firing one shot, you see it taking place with Obama in office. America wake up and get your head out of the sand before Obama destroys this nation. Call and email your members of congress daily and demand they stop Obama! Stop the grain take over!

This is dangerous! Soros is totally unscrupulous. He has already wrecked the economies of several countries with currency manipulation. It's no secret Obama is his puppet and his plan for the US is to abrogate The Constitution of the United States and change America's government into something far different than was intended by the Founding Fathers. Control of our food supply is a huge step in that direction. Somehow Soros/Obama must be stopped.

I say we "Nationalize" all Soros property and assets and convict him of being a traitor to the US of A. Then hang the basta~d in the Washington square. I can't think of a bigger and more dangerous enemy to the US of A. Time to extinguish him for good

Anytime that a monopoly is created or allowed to happen unopposed, the result is potential chaos. If any one person has this much power, this results in a virtual dictatorship, our elected officials contribute to this problem by ineptitude and inaction. There are plenty of reasons to impeach the president, yet we are doing nothing. Obamacare was rammed down the throat of the American people , and it is unconstitutional, so is the attack on Libya, what are we doing about that? There is a huge case against this administration, let us get going; impeach, overturn, prosecute those who harm us NOW!

Don't expect our Gov. to do anything as long we have Obama.

Rev 6:5-6 6 Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" NIV

This man is the puppeteer who pulls Obama's strings. He is the most evil man in America and intends to reinstate feudalism, with him calling the shots. This man is the devil's spawn.

I do not think Soros is an American citizen, I have heard he is a Canadian citizen.. SO, why is he allowed to interfear in American politics? Looks to me like he is a "financial terrorist".

I believe Soros is Swiss.

It doesn't matter what nationality he is, he has already proved that he will do anything to forward his "One World" plan and bring down any country he can. He is an evil, evil man who will stop at nothing to further his dirty agenda. He just wants control of the food supply to force America into third world status sooner when people cannot buy food with worthless US dollars anymore...

When you find out how to do all of that Gilles, I'm onboard. I would much rather have the squatter taken out of the White House in handcuffs and tried for High Crimes and Misdeamors, Fraud and Treason against the United States of America. By having him declared ineligible, which we know he is, all that he has done will be null and void and all of the traitors he has appointed will lose their appointments, such as that super dyke Kagan in the Supreme Court. As for Soros, I would like nothing better than to see gun hanged. All of these immigrants are intent on collapsing the USA and Western Civilszation; at least we know that Soros is naturalized, or so I think; but we know that Obama is an illegal, a squatter and definitely a traitor. He has come right out and said that he and his wife hate America, they hate the American Flag, which is why he does nt salute the flag and holds his crotch during the National Anthem. He also said that he would do away with the constitution, replace the National Anthem with "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing," and that he and Michelle had attended several "Flag Burning" events prior to his becoming president. The Supreme Court is no doubt aware of his illegal status but refuse to hear any suits against him and the DOJ is a freaking joke with that Nazi practicing law for "blacks only."

Where the hell is the Mafia when we need a someone to show Soro's the door or the way over to the war and put him on the front lines

I'm also opposed to Soros becoming part of the oligopoly of food and grain producers. But let's be realistic. Cargill and Archer-Daniels have been fleecing the American public for many years now, getting $billion$ in government subsidies (our taxes) and tax breaks, while trying to maintain high prices and manipulating the markets to our disadvantage. All the accusations against Soros can be made just as well against these other two 'All American' companies. In case of world wide food shortages which drive prices to the sky, does anybody believe that the non-Soros companies will first sell to Americans at lower prices, before they sell to other countires at higher prices? And guess who is getting huge taxpayer subsidies for converting corn to ethanol, while Americans get stuck with higher food prices, and many people in poor countires can't afford to buy food?
