2/11/11

Assemblyman Jim Neilsen and Senator Doug LaMalfa

OFFICIALLY STAND UP TO OPPOSE THE WATERSHED WIDE PERMIT PROGRAM. OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES ADVISE AGAINST SIGNING THE CONTRACT.

Our elected representatives are standing up for the people. Assemblyman Jim Neilsen and Senator Doug LaMalfa will give a press conference today outlining their positions in opposition to the Watershed Wide Permit Contract and Dam Removal. The support of our representatives has been crucial to Scott Valley Protect Our Water, in our fight, to protect property rights in Siskiyou County.

Senator LaMalfa and Assemblyman Neilsen have summoned California Department of Fish and Game Director, John McCamman, for a meeting. Director McCamman, will be asked, to explain Fish and Game’s actions and its attempts to extort and coerce water owners into signing permits which are illegal and unconstitutional.

Protect Our Water speakers have participated in a series of presentations with Law Makers, North State Tea Parties, Range Managers, Sierra Pacific Industries executives, and many others who are in a position to help spread the word in our battle to preserve our water and property rights. Protect Our Water is continuing the fight against the invasion of the California Department of Fish and Game and their environmental swindle of the century.

I urge everyone to call or write, our elected representatives, to thank them for their support.
