7/3/08  Please help California suction dredge miners!!

Rider language creating a moratorium on further issuance of suction dredge permits in California has been approved through the Senate and Assembly Budget Subcommittees.

This means, similar Rider language will be attached to the full California budget bill which will be voted upon by the California legislature sometime within the next few weeks.

We need your immediate help in sending a letter, fax or email to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, asking him to please veto this harmful Rider language. Even if you don't live in California, it is important for you to send in your message.

You can read our full action alert by following this link:

http://www.goldgold.com/legal/rider_actionalert08.htm

We must either kill this rider right now, or there is a good chance that suction dredging permits will not be available in California next season!

Thank you very much for whatever you can do to help us out on this very important issue!
