The Regional Water Quality Control Board, North Coast Region (Regional Water Board) will hold three public meetings concerning development and adoption of an amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan of the North Coast Region (Basin Plan) to protect stream and wetland systems, which include stream channels, wetlands, riparian areas, and floodplains. These meetings are in addition to CEQA scoping meetings held in Eureka, Yreka, and Santa Rosa in May. Members of the public and interested parties will be provided the opportunity to present oral and/or written comments on all aspects of the amendment, including implementation planning. All comments will be included in the final administrative record.
