Watershed council to meet this Friday

The Upper Mid Klamath Watershed Council will meet on Jan. 26. The purpose of the meeting is the formation of the Upper Mid Klamath Watershed Council.

According to a recent press release the proposed area to be covered by the Upper Mid Klamath Watershed Council is the Klamath watershed from Seiad on the west to the Oregon border on the east, and from the Siskiyou ridge line on the north to Yreka, Montague on the south.

Residents of this area are advised to attend this meeting as the rules, regulations and programs are made by those who show up, the release stated.
 
The meeting will be on Jan. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hornbrook Grange Hall in Hornbrook.
