Watershed issues workshop offered

The event is the third in the Pacific Northwest Watershed Issues Satellite series and will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at 3328 Vandenberg Road.

Video taped visits in three watersheds across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho will feature community members sharing their experiences and strategies for recruiting and sustaining support for natural resource protection.

Appearing live on camera, representatives from the watersheds will answer phoned, faxed, or

e-mailed questions. Discussion by extension specialists who have partnered with watershed groups over the last decade will offer a range of strategies available for increasing stakeholder involvement.
