Help for ag students
4/5/05

The Klamath County Cattlewomen are again offering scholarships to young people from the Klamath Basin (all of Klamath County plus the Butte Valley and Tulelake areas of Northern California).

Applicants must be college students who will be a sophomore or above for the 2005-2006 school year.

Only students majoring in nutrition and food management or ag-related fields of study, including veterinary medicine, are eligible to apply.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of interest, future plans, activities and a faculty recommendation.

I urge anyone who is aware of a college student who meets the above criteria to let them know of this opportunity.

Deadline for applying is July 1. Applications are available by calling me at 541-884-9594.
