Subject: Re: Klamath Agreement motions

Motion #1 -

It was moved by Supervisor Cook, seconded by Supervisor Armstrong that the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors opposes removal of the four lower dams on the Klamath River in Siskiyou County. Following a roll call vote, with Supervisors Armstrong, Cook, Erickson, Kobseff and Overman voting YES, the motion carried unanimously.

Motion #2 - It was moved by Supervisor Cook, seconded by Supervisor Armstrong that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Siskiyou opposes the current proposed Klamath River Basin Restoration Agreement and will continue to work with and pursue all appropriate avenues to protect the interests of its citizens and will submit findings to support the County's position. Following a roll call vote, with Supervisors Armstrong, Cook, Erickson, Kobseff and Overman voting YES, the motion carried unanimously.
