Herald and News 4/5/09 Letter to editor by Patrick Rodgers, Klamath Falls Keep dams, and put in fish ladders When I read about that the dams on the Klamath River, I have to say I was upset. The dams are already there; they are already giving power, (gree power). To want to tear down the dams instead of building fish ladders--come on. I would rather pay for fish ladders instead of tearing out the dams. Can anyone imagine the flooding downriver and the sediment in the river? Talk about sterilization!
