“Hydro” Agreement (Klamath Dam Removal) Hearings:

The Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors will hold two hearings to receive public review and comment process of the Draft Hydroelectric Settlement Agreement (Draft of Sept. 30, 2009) to remove four dams on the Klamath River. This will be on Thursday November 12 at the Miners Inn in Yreka at 1-4 p.m. and again at 6-9 p.m. Principal signatories are PacifiCorp, the federal and state governments. Siskiyou County’s signature is not required for the agreement to go forward.

Representatives of the U.S. Dept. of the Interior, The State of California, and PacifiCorp have been invited to attend and participate.
