Dredge the lake

The Bureau of Reclamation is not reclaiming arid land by withholding irrigation water.

Flooding ranches along the edges of Upper Klamath Lake only makes more mud. The lake needs dredging now.

This year we have the opportunity to vote for people who will get the job done.

I understand the lake is owned by the state of Oregon. If this is true, then the other organizations should bow out, and the state of Oregon could proceed to clean up the lake.

The Department of Environmental Quality should get out of our face on water and air quality concerns. Its budget money would be better used to dredge the lake. Keep the Forest Service as a land and timber steward.
