Presentation on (Klamath)river planned

Herald and News March 6, 2010

A presentation on restoring the Klamath River through the federal Clean Water Act will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Mt. Mazama Room in the College Union at Oregon Institute of Technology, according to a news release.

Erica Terence of Klamath Riverkeeper will explain how the Clean Water Act works and how citizens can be involved on the Klamath River.

“Oregon is moving forward with a pollution plan that has the potential to make the Klamath River fishable and swimmable again, a goal that will serve all residents of the Klamath Basin,” she said.
